What sort of person are we looking for?

Firstly have a good look at our web site to make sure you like what you see.  We work with very troubled young people -    If you really enjoy working with young people, are kind, tolerant, patient but very determined, - you might be the very special person we are looking for.  Experience of working with young people is important but not always essential.  - Attitude and commitment to the work we do is all important.  We particularly welcome applications from people who are qualified to drive a minibus (D1 on your license), or have some knowledge of ethnic minority cultures and languages.

Step One

If we think you may have what we are looking for we will telephone you for a chat.  If that goes well we will invite you in to meet us. 

Step two

You will be invited to come in for a day or more as a volunteer.  This shows your commitment and helps us to judge how you are around young people. 

Step three

If after all that you still want to join us and if we think you are going to fit and that you have the style and skills we want, you will be offered a temporary contract for a fixed period.
