Respect4us  is an alternative education provider working in partnership with schools in Norfolk. It provides an alternative curriculum  for young people who have failed to make progress in the mainstream educational system.

We take KS2, KS3 and KS4 students with a wide variety of issues :

• those who have stopped attending school altogether
• those for whom National Curriculum is probably inappropriate and whose behaviour in the classroom has become too difficult or too expensive in terms of time and money for hard-pressed schools to manage,
• those who have been excluded from mainstream school and who are receiving only part-time education.

We also have specialist groups for young people who need separate provision:

• small nurture groups for those who are very under-confident
• school age girls who are pregnant or are young mums,
• girls with self image issues arising from obesity or poor health
• KS2 children whose social skills and learning skills are insufficiently developed to cope with main stream school

Respect4us  is not a school, nor is it a vocational education provider.  Our approach is holistic and child-centred aimed at nurturing the young person's confidence and identifying with them their unique qualities and potential to be successful, happy and fulfilled human beings.

Working with Sally Porter to make Pudsey cakes to sell for BBC Children in Need.
